Prešeren Awards / Prešernova proslava

In times marked by the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty of the situation, the national celebration of the Slovenian Cultural Day, entitled Hope!, showed that human creativity and art are what we can rely on in times of trial. Through the language of film and a programme co-created by some of the previous recipients, we honoured the awardees of the Prešeren Fund Awards and two Prešeren awardees for the year 2021. The interwinement of the cultural programme and the main ceremony at National Gallery as the home of Slovenian culture was broadcast on Sunday, February 7, at 20:00 on the First Programme RTV.
