Crowned / Okronana

In the film Crowned, we follow the extraordinary story of Magdalena Gornik, who lived in the 19th century with mystical phenomena and faced opposition, yet persistently followed her mission of converting hearts and drawing near to God through suffering.

A simple girl in 1847, at the age of 12, embarks on a path of mysticism and suffering. She decided to dedicate her life to God and to suffer and atone for sins in a special, mystical way. Despite opposition and challenges in her life, Magdalena remained faithful to God and her mission. Through her example and message of conversion, she invites us to faith and shows us how to embrace the suffering that comes our way, how to find meaning or even beauty within it.
